Day 1:
Welcome to Siem Reap & Angkor Heritage Site
AM :
Warmly
welcome by our tour guide upon your arrival at Siem Reap
airport and check in at hotel.
Then depart from Hotel to see
the
South Gate of Angkor Thom,
the last capital of Angkor Period (AD 802-1432) until
the 15th century, was indeed a Great City as its name
implied. Bayon Temple, one of the most popular sites in Angkor complex
and over 200 large faces caved on the 54 towers, which
at that time represents the 54 provinces in The Khmer
Empire; give this temple its majestic character, Terrace
of elephant and Terrace of Leper king.
Then visit the jungle-like temple of Ta
Prohm. The movement of the earth beneath
distorts the high lichen covered walls. Build in AD 1186
by King Jayavarman VII. 800 years of history lie twisted
and broken, with sinister root systems of huge trees
enveloping doors and windows in a stranglehold. Trunks
of trees twist amongst stone pillars, and spread their
gigantic roots over, under and in between the stones,
probing walls and terraces apart, make this temple even
more extractive. This amazing temple is a photographers
dream!
Enjoy the lunch at Local Restaurant.
PM
: Depart from the hotel Then, fulfill your dream by visit
to Angkor Wat Temple,
one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Surround by a
moat and an exterior wall measuring 1300 meters x 1500
meters. It is a massive three-tiered pyramid crowned by
five lotus-like towers rising 65 meters from ground
level. The walls of the temple are covered inside and
out with bas-reliefs and carvings. Nearly 2000
distinctively rendered Apsara carvings adorn the walls
throughout the temple and represent some of the finest
examples of Apsara carvings in Angkorian era art.
Then we will enjoy sunset at
Bakheng Mountain to witness spatula view of
Angkor Wat’s 5 towels and Beautiful sunsets over the
forest…
Enjoy your evening with the Ancient Khmer Kingdom's
cultural dance show with buffet dinner
