Ox and buffalo cart trek
(18 km east of
Siem Reap town in Anlong Pi village)
Enjoy trekking with ox and buffalo cart to visit beauty of rice fields,
seasonal farming activities and other daily activities of local people.
You will have time to walk in village to meet and talk with local
families. In the village, you will have opportunity to learn how to
weave a mat and traditional palm cakes.
Meet a group of women who have a
traditional skill and weaving technique, which is becoming rare in the
countryside villages because of modernism. Ending with a visit to the
local market where you can enjoy and see the diversity of fresh products
in the countryside.

Horse cart trek
(18 km west of
Siem Reap town in Pouk)
 Along the trails, you will cross fifteen small villages remarkable by
their specific rural and seasonal farming activities.
The horse cart specially designed to offer you a maximum of comfort is
driven by a local farmer, owner of the horse.
Time to time you will walk also through villages to get nice moment to
meet and talk with local families and visit a Buddhism pagoda, a
school and the local market. In one village a group of women make local
handicrafts, at that time, either to see and learn how to make a product
with them. By the way, you can catch up the smiles and warm welcomes of local where
ever you stop by.

Departure from
hotel and
Arrival in Anlong Pi village, then you will walk for awhile
through a village and visit a pagoda. And then take the ox
and buffalo cart tour across paddy fields and villages. |

Take awhile for breakfast time (Coffee, tea, cake
and fruit.) then
Continue tour by walking in the village, and meet some local
families. During this time, you will receive an explanation
about daily activities of locals, seasons of rice farming
and other information. |
| 9:30 am |
Visit a seasonal vegetable farm and traditional handicraft
demonstration by a woman. At this time, the guide will explain the processing and techniques to weave a
mat, If you are interested to learn how to do, feel free to
ask women as your teacher.
Women will teach to make some souvenirs if you ask then you
feel free to take them. You will have the fresh coconut
juice provided by a family at the handicraft demonstrator's
home. |

End of the tour in the village and transfer to Kompong
Khleang villages |

Arrival at harbor and continue the trip by motorboat to
Kompong Khleang villages. You will receive an explanation on
the local life adaptation, local families’ economy and
village characteristic then stop at a local host family for
lunch break. (August to January.)Arrival at a

Take motorboat tour to visit around the further villages and
the Tonle Sap lake, you will receive an explanation on the
unique hydrology and ecosystem of the lake. Then return into
villages and get off motorboat and take a walk through a
local pagoda and a local market. (August to January).
Take motorboat tour along the canal through villages, and
get to the open lake of the Tonle Sap. You will receive an
explanation on the unique hydrology and ecosystem of the
lake. Then return to villages and get off the motorboat to

Walking tour
(18 km west of Siem

In morning time,
during our walking tour you will catch up the morning freshness along
the 7 km trek along the village roads. You will visit interested places,
unique views, and discover specific activities of local families.
By the way, you have time to meet local families to question about their
ways of life and living situation through your guide. On your way you
will have chance to stop by a Buddhism pagoda, local shops, children
school… Your guide will give you specific explanations on seasonal
farming activities, living issues and social information about rural
lives.
